TRAVEL GUIDES

Information is everywhere and it’s hard to sort through the noise.  Use the links below for the best travel guides to help you plan your next adventure.

The original travel bible. If you backpacked anytime before 2010, then you probably had a copy with a worn cover and bent pages that was always in an easy-to-reach spot in your bag. All I wanted in life was to be a travel writer for the Lonely Planet. A lot has changed in how you get yoru information but Lonely planet still knows its stuff and is a great resource.

I have been using Timeout as a go-to resource for years and I love there best of city guides. There is always a ton of great restaurant and bar reviews and they are often really current. I can’t count the number of times we found out about something cool going on in a city by cruising through their guides. An easy website to get you excited for your trip.

Atlas is an interesting website focusing on lesser-known activities in a city or country. What’s really cool is nearly 30,000 people have contributed to the website providing on-the-ground insights to inspire and enhance your trip. There is a ton of content on their site and its easy to find something out of the ordinary that can lead you to adventure.
