Finland is beautiful throughout the year but shines in both the Winter and Summer season. Finding peace and quiet in Finland is easy year-round, thanks to its abundant nature. However, for smaller crowds at the country’s major attractions and popular destinations, consider visiting in the spring.
The Euro
Tourist/business visa not required for stay up to 90 days (the 90 day period begins when entering the Nordic area: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.) This also applies to the countries party to the Schengen accord.
Comparatively, crime rates are low. Although you might find yourself in the midst of a storm or blizzard, major natural disasters such as tornados, typhoons and earthquakes are practically non-existent.
