VISA

Many countries can apply for an E-visa for stays up to 6 months.  Nothing is easy or straightforward in India and don’t expect the E-visa to be either but persevere because India is like no other country on earth.

SAFETY

SAFETY

At Xplorist we have travelled India extensively and have always felt safe. A vast majority of Indians live below the poverty line and petty theft and tourist-related scams are prevalent but violence is a rarity. If you check your home country’s travel advisories then you will probably see a warning issued with a high level of risk noted for India. There are good and bad people everywhere but socio-economic pressures and changing political landscapes in countries can change things quickly. Do your own research and trust your gut.
