The best ime to visit Mongolia is from mid-June to late August. During this summer period, you can expect sunny days with occasional rain, which helps maintain the lush and green landscapes. Mongolia has distinct seasons and wide variations in temperatures, Mongolian winter can be harsh and cold but beautiful.

Most visitors can obtain a visa upon arrival in Mongolia for stays up to 90 days. In a bid to boost tourism following the global pandemic, 2023, 2024 and 2025 have been declared “the years to visit Mongolia”, and a host of countries are now being offered visa-free travel until the end of 2025.

Mongolia is generally a safe country to visit and travel. If you are to ave any issues , it’s more likely to happen in Ulaanbaatar. There are good and bad people everywhere but socio-economic pressures and changing political landscapes in countries can change things quickly. Do your own research and trust your gut.
